What a fantastic week for the Campton Racing team! We’ve celebrated three impressive victories, kicking off at Ballina and culminating in a thrilling race day double on our home track at the Gold Coast. It’s moments like these that make all the hard work worthwhile.
Booya Boy’s Impressive Debut at Ballina
Tuesday’s meeting at Ballina saw the debut of Booya Boya promising son of Bivouac. He looked an absolute picture in the parade ring and was heavily supported by punters, firming into a short-priced favourite at $1.35. Drawing the coveted barrier 1 was the icing on the cake.
Under a top ride from Karl Zechner, Booya Boy jumped cleanly, took up the early lead, and never looked in danger. He cruised to a comfortable win, showcasing real talent on debut. This exciting young horse has a bright future ahead – watch this space!
Synergy In Motion Leads All the Way at Gold Coast
Saturday brought us back to our home track at the Gold Coast, where Synergy In Motion kicked off proceedings in style. Despite drawing awkwardly wide, he jumped sharply, showed brilliant early speed to cross and lead, and then powered away for a dominant front-running victory.
Even though he eased slightly in the betting as favourite, Synergy In Motion displayed genuine class, winning as he pleased. A top effort from a horse who continues to deliver for his connections.
Count Nicholas Seals the Double
The day capped off perfectly in the 1000m sprint with one of our stable favourites, Count Nicholas. He had to work hard from behind, rallying strongly at the 400m mark to overhaul Back Stage and Darling Take Care in a thrilling finish.
This win secured a race day double for Campton Racing and highlighted the talent of our apprentice jockey Bella Youngberry, who rode a remarkable treble on the card. Well done, Bella!
Thank You to Our Team and Supporters
A huge thank you to our dedicated owners for their continued support, our hardworking staff who make it all possible, and all the supporters of Campton Racing. Your enthusiasm keeps us motivated every day.
We’re already looking ahead to the next Gold Coast meeting – the final one before Christmas. It’s a spectacular night meeting under the lights on Friday night, and we can’t wait to be part of the action.
