Such an impressive win at Doomben!
Synergy In Motion proved why this 4-year-old gelding is one to watch. On his return to racing at Doomben, the course commentator couldn’t have put it better: “Too fast – too smart.” The performance was nothing short of impressive, especially considering it was Synergy In Motion’s first start since April.
Taking on the XXXX Gold Benchmark 65 over 1,200 metres, Synergy In Motion not only faced tough competition but also delivered the standout time of the day – scorching through the distance in just 1:08.94. Out of all four 1,200-metre races held at Doomben, this was the fastest.

A bit of background for those new to following Synergy In Motion: he’s a gelding sired by the legendary American Pharoah, the 2015 Triple Crown winner who now stands at Coolmore Stud. Acquired at the 2023 Magic Millions Gold Coast 2yo in training sale, Synergy In Motion has continued to build on his impressive pedigree.
The win was beautifully guided by jockey Emily Lang. She gave Synergy In Motion a flawless ride: he jumped alertly, took control at the front, and never looked back. Crossing the finish line with a comfortable margin of 2.4 lengths, it was a textbook victory that turned heads.
Congratulations are in order to Synergy In Motion’s owner. If this outing is anything to go by, it won’t be long before we see this talented contender back in the winner’s circle.
Stay tuned for more updates on Synergy In Motion as this promising racehorse continues his progress.
