Bella Youngberry & Baile Baker share their success

Double Success Across The Border For Campton Racing

It was a fantastic day for the Campton Racing team at the Tweed River Jockey Club in Murwillumbah today (Saturday, 24 January 2026)!

We travelled across the border to the picturesque Northern NSW track with two runners and both came home winners in style.

Race 1: Racing Mates Maiden Plate

Our Pierant (by Pierro) was sent out as the odds-on favourite by punters. Jumping from a wide barrier, jockey Bella Youngberry settled him patiently at the rear of the field. On the turn, she peeled him out wide, and Pierant unleashed a blistering finish—making up six lengths in the straight to claim his maiden victory in impressive fashion.

A huge congratulations to the ownership group from Broadbeach Racing, many of whom made the trip south to cheer him home. One owner summed it up perfectly: this looks like the first of many wins for Pierant—he’s got plenty more to offer!

Our stable apprentice Bailie Baker also rode the third placegetter, Monte Carlo Miss, adding to the strong showing from the team.

Race 4: Tooheys New Class 1 Handicap

Next up was our 5YO gelding Supersonic Man (by Bungle Inthejungle), who drew the outside gate in barrier 10/11. Under another excellent ride from Bailie Baker, he jumped sharply to take up the lead, controlled the race throughout, and found plenty when challenged to score comfortably.

Broadbeach Racing celebrate Pierants win

This was his second career win—and notably, both victories have come second-up from a spell, highlighting his sharp fitness and suitability to this pattern.

Ironically, second place went to Bella Youngberry‘s mount All Too Foxy—a great result for both our jockeys!

These wins are a true reward for the dedication of the entire Campton Racing team—from the stable staff to our hard-working riders. Special thanks to owners Broadbeach Racing (Pierant) and Miss Lam (Supersonic Man) for their continued support.

Well done to Bailie and Bella—top rides from both of you!

A big day at a beautiful country track. Here’s to many more like it.
