On a hot Monday at Ipswich, our progressive four-year-old chestnut gelding delivered a mighty performance, notching his third consecutive victory and cementing his status as a stable favourite.
Bruckheimer has now recorded an enviable race record for Team Campton: five starts for three wins and two seconds.
🎥 Lights, Camera, Action — and Acceleration
Bruckheimer’s latest triumph was anything but routine. Drawn wide with tricky conditions after heavy rains over the weekend, he was forced 3 wide for most of the race. Our super apprentice, Bella Youngberry didn’t panic, she rode him awesomely to win in a performance that was really impressive.
He’s a son of Written By who stands at the beautiful Widden Stud, he was bred by Gilgai Farms in Nagambie, Victoria. Bruckheimer has made a habit of rising to the occasion since joining Campton racing, today’s victory only adds to the growing buzz surrounding his future.
🎬 The Campton Touch
Trainer Adam Campton, who identified Bruckheimer from an Inglis on line sale, has clearly found a gem in Bruckheimer. Adam’s hands-on approach and sharp eye for talent have been key to the gelding’s progress. He’s shown plenty of patience, placed him perfectly, and is now reaping the rewards along with an ownership group that stretches across several Australian states.
“It’s always special when a horse puts it all together like this,” Campton said post-race. “He’s got a big engine and an even bigger heart. We’ve taken our time with him, and he’s repaying us in spades.”
🌟 What’s Next for the Rising Star?
With three wins and two seconds from just five starts, Bruckheimer is off to the paddock for a very well earned spell.
The team at Campton Racing and supporters — look forward to his return to the track, no doubt more excitement will follow.
