In an impressive display, Hidden Melody was resolute winning again at Toowoomba on Saturday.
Our 5-year-old mare made it three wins from her last three starts or 4 wins from her last 5 starts. Despite a tough draw Jace McMurray was forced to work early and travel a little wide on the turn where she kicked to claim victory in the Eureka Stud Fillies and Mares Benchmark 78 Handicap over 1200 meters.
On a big race day which includes the TAB Toowoomba Cup, this was another impressive win in a solid time of 1:12.03 on a Good (3) track. She crossed the line 0.8 lengths ahead of runner-up Electric Arrow.
Starting at the surprisingly generous price of $10, Hidden Melody defied bookmakers expectations, adding another win to her growing resume. The daughter of Your Song (AUS) earned herself another $48,800 in prize money.
