It was not an easy decision for Adam and the owners, but after yesterday’s race we have decided to retire our Deepour. Big D gave our team some incredible highs that we will never forget. He has been like a best mate to our boss and he didn’t take this decision lightly
From his first win at the sunny coast to his sublime win at Doomben, we will never forget the thrills this beautiful horse gave us all. Deepour will now head to a big grassy paddock and I’m sure the boss and his owners will frequently visit him with plenty of bags of

“He was a freak! At his best his turn of foot was insane. I’m going to miss training him as he was like a best mate to me and he had so much ability but most of all I’m happy as he is sound and happy in a big green paddock.”
