Under glorious sunshine on a near-spring Sunday morning, more than 50 enthusiastic clients gathered at our Bundall stables to celebrate another milestone with Adam Campton and the team. Fresh off securing the Gold Coast Trainers Championship for the second consecutive year, the atmosphere was electric—and the turnout a true testament to the loyalty and excitement surrounding Campton Racing.
Our private Gold Coast stables looked immaculate, setting the stage for a memorable open day. Guests wandered through the yards, meeting our talented racehorses in work and getting up close with our promising two-year-olds—many of whom are gearing up for their debut campaigns.
The parade kicked off with Catwalk Criminal, fresh off a dominant first-up win on Saturday at short odds. Our MC for the morning was none other than Clint Donovan, the charismatic auctioneer from Magic Millions, widely regarded as one of Australia’s finest. Adam shared his spring ambitions for Catwalk Criminal, sparking plenty of excitement among the crowd.
Next up was our stunning filly by Redwood out of Misspro O’Rielly. Adam explained what drew him to her and why she’s such an exciting prospect. With only a few shares remaining, interest was immediate—our guests didn’t waste time snapping them up.
Clint and Adam kept the energy high with insights into our two-year-olds’ pedigrees, future plans, and a few classic racing yarns that had everyone laughing. The formalities wrapped up just in time for us to tune in to our runners at Warwick, where Sujeed delivered a strong win and Marathia ran a brave second.
With racing action behind us, our owners enjoyed the hospitality—great food, cold drinks, and more time connecting with their horses and each other. It was a day that perfectly captured the spirit of Campton Racing: success, community, and a shared passion for the sport.
